The Children’s Wee Grav is a great chance for kids to sample the gravel endurance racing and get amongst the action!
It is aimed at children aged 8-14 years. There will be a 3.5km loop which can be raced solo or relayed as a pair.
This event is prioritised for pre-entries. Depending on availability a few spaces may be available on the day on a first come, first served basis.
More on the format - The kids will be given 90 minutes to complete as many laps of a 3.4km loop as they can. If they head out before the 90 minutes are up, the final lap will still count. They can race solo or in relay pairs and age categories will be age 8 - 9, 10 -11 and 12-14. The course will be partially shared with the adults for extra excitement!
We are so stoked to bring all the wee riders into the main fold and give them a taste of the buzz of an endurance event.
All children must be accompanied by an adult on the route.
Schedule - 12pm start, podiums circa 2pm
