Duke and Duchess of the Hill - Start Times

Please find start times for Saturday’s hill climb. You will note each rider is given a window of approximately 10 minutes. Please try to be on time. Although electronic timing gives us flexibility, we do have a holding pen at the start and it will be busy so please do not arrive too early!

As many of you will be aware the Scottish cycling community lost Rab Wardell last month. Rab was a dear friend and integral part of our event. We are still processing the news and he will be sorely missed.

In acknowledgement of what has happened, we have given Rab a start time of 5pm. At 4.59 we would ask everyone respects a minutes silence to reflect, and then at 5pm please make some noise to celebrate life, bikes and Rab’s enthusiasm for everything.

Let’s make this the best hill climb yet. As Rab would often simply say “Bikes are gid, eh!?”
