Madison to Support Childrens Enduro

The Dukes Weekender is more than just a bike race. We know we've already posted loads about out unique closed road Hill Climb, Gravel Enduro and the Gathering of (yes I'm going to say it) world class speakers, But we wanted to include everyone. So, what about the kids?

From 10am until 4pm both days we will have a pump track provided thanks to Stirling Council with a test fleet of kids bikes from Saracen and Ridgeback. Bring along any little ripper old enough to pilot the bike and give them an exciting try out on some great little bikes fit for purpose. Not only that, if they (or you) lack confidence in their ability we will have coaches on site to safely guide them through the challenge.

If your kids are a bit bigger we have the Madison sponsored Childrens Mini Enduro. This event is just over 10km in length. It will include two timed stages with electronic timing chips to give the yougsters a real taste of the enduro that their older counterparts will complete. Not only that but it starts at 9.30am which gives those parents / guardians who want to do the adult enduro enough time to get the kids around the course first. This enduro is open to 8-14 year olds and we are excited to announce that Madison will be providing the Podium Prizes.

Please note there is also the caveat that 14 year olds can complete the full enduro with full parental guidance and support if they prefer.
