Rondo Bicycles to headline partner dukes weekender
The Dukes Weekender team are delighted to announce a collaboration with gravel bike brand Rondo as the headline partner of the inaugural Dukes Weekender event.
Distributed in the UK by Edinburgh based Hotlines, Rondo (www.Rondo.cc) are one of the most innovative brand leading the new gravel revolution as a new cycling discipline.
We literally could not be more excited to be working with Rondo, we’ve already had them out for a little spin on our route, mixing it up on the forest roads and blasting a few lochside paths and they definitely ride as great as they look… Their mantra is “less talking, more riding” so we’ll let the bikes do the talking for us.
We’ll be working together with the team at Hotlines to showcase the bikes and they’ll be around on the event weekend to let you take a look and a wee spin! Here is what their marketing manager Dave Flynn had to say:
'For us Rondo is the perfect fit for this event as the Ruut bikes with their innovative flip-chip fork mean you’ve got a hillclimber for Saturday and a comfortable, ride-all-day gravel bike for Sunday. Plus we’ve had a peek at some of the route and now we can’t wait to ride!!’
We’ll be continuing to bring you guys more news about the event. The film/talk night is shaping up to be an absolutely amazing night with one or two famous names of Scottish cycling making an appearance... Once we’re ready to announce this we’ll be offering tickets out to those who have entered the enduro and hillclimb first.
