Santa Cruz Bicycles to Headline Partner Dukes Weekender 2019

Those eagle eyed followers amongst you may have realised that we have a new partner for the event. We’re so excited to be bringing our friends at Santa Cruz Bikes to be our official partner for 2019!

For those of you who know those behind the creation of the Dukes Weekender (Rob and Stu) you will know that we’ve always had a great relationship with the brand, Rob racing Elite XC (ex Scottish xc champ) and 24 hr racing and Stu through making their films with riders such as Danny Macaskill, Josh Bryceland and Steve Peat so it’s been fantastic to bring them onboard… We truly believe we are based in the most incredible location in the UK for gravel riding so we were so excited when the Santa Cruz crew got in touch following our amazing first year.

A few riders and friends of Santa Cruz rode in last years event and they caught up with us not long afterwards to say how buzzing they were on the format, atmosphere and riding in Dukes Weekender and to keep them in the loop for next year… Things developed and here we are!

The brand will be out in force and bringing a load of energy and fun at the 2019 event. They’ll be bringing along their range of bikes including their latest developments in Gravel riding! There will be the opportunity for you guys to demo the bikes and they’ll be making prizes available throughout the weekend.

We’re in early days of pulling together the film night but we already have some amazing names in the mix from the Santa Cruz fold so watch this space and expect to see some recognisable faces on the trails and chatting at Dukes Gathering on the Sat night!
