Sunday afternoon I stood with Rab and Katie chatting after he won Scottish xc champs. As he strode up to the podium I distinctly remember smiling and thinking how happy he seemed in his life right now.
The energy in the room, the friend when you needed it, the athlete, the joker, so excitable but always with wise words too, the guy who inspired and uplifted.
@rabwardell had a dream to ride bikes for a living. A goal that he chased, persistently, and he made it happen. I respected that so much more than I ever let him know.
It was just Rab. No one like him. I can’t quite process this.
All my heart goes out to @_katiearchibald and his family.
I’m so so sorry.
New @cutmedia studio build is on… Plans signed off, building warrant approved and big move coming at the end of the year. Absolutely buzzing to see this old office getting ripped out and the new designs take shape.
It’s pretty mad walking round the new place reflecting on the journey we’ve been on. Still flipping love every part of it and couldn’t ask for a better dude to have shared it with than @smarsha11.
Going from the 2 of us a decade ago to a team of 24 talented people that I bloody love working with every day feels bewildering at times but absolutely awesome too. 🤯
Thanks to my buddy @denestuff and his team at @nestscotland for all the hard work on the project too. 🙌

Two days van life with Mrs T last week 🙌.
Things have been a bit of a whirlwind of late, so with the kids visiting grandparents for a couple of days Mrs T, Maggie 🐕 and I took the opportunity to roam the highlands for a few days.
No plans, a van and all the blue skies… Just the ticket. 🏴☀️
Smashed out an off-road Everest at the weekend. 🏔
Big team mission up to Aviemore and the Burma Road climb. I’d roped a few friends into a day out with the aim of climbing an elevation of 8849m (height of Mt Everest) in one go.
Ended up churning laps with @robfriel81, once again the best mad challenge wingman anyone could ask for 🙏🏼.
20 1/2 laps of the Burma climb and 14 hours 59 minutes later (13:33 riding time) we had climbed the height of Everest.
Thanks to all who got involved and it was ace to see so many hitting some goals over the day. Big highlight seeing @handbikepacking up top too 🙌.
Linked the @strava ride in my profile.
Will be happy not to see that climb in a while.

Despite riding/racing a bike 15 years I just got round to a proper xc race for the first time ever this weekend.
Jumped in deep(ish) at British National, started 51st on the grid, ended up 6th in the old dawgs class.
Shout out to @isla_short & @rabwardell for the practice laps and tips, and @nick1craig for the ‘encouragement’ 😜... I keep fast company hopefully it’ll rub off sometime 🤣.
Oh and the @santacruzbicycles Blur is a weapon (and oh so pretty 🤩), me less so… Might try this again sometime though.
🤟
